Practice Lead, David Clutterbuck Partnership

David Clutterbuck is one of Europe’s best-known management writers and speakers. Visiting professor at three UK universities and adjunct faculty at Ashridge, he co-founded the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, the leading organisation in this field. David brought the concept of supported mentoring programmes to Europe in the early 1980s and pioneered many management concepts, including 360 degree feedback and dos recently, systemic talent management. Author, editor or co-author of 65 books, he maintains a continuous programme of leading-edge research, with one central theme — how more effective dialogue can benefit individual, teams and organisations. David is a stimulating speaker, who constantly challenges received wisdom and presents complex, evidence-based ideas in ways that are readily accessible to practitioners. Among his many interests are working with people, who have learning disability and/or are on the autistic spectrum; and comedy (he chairs the research committee of the London School of Comedy and "graduated” as a stand-up comedian!)
